This comprehensive course is meant to teach first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to the professionals in a team setup, so that they build confidence to respond to emergencies.
This course teaches the important steps to perform a rapid assessment, perform Basic Life Support (canadian red cross BLS Certification) skills, and perform rapid defibrillation including use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
The participants will also learn the signs/symptoms of opioid poisoning, how to provide help and prevent disability and death.
Standard First Aid will run from 9AM-5PM and BLS will be run on a separate day from 9AM-1 PM. It will either be on a consecutive day or the participants can choose the BLS day from our schedule.
